Ambrosha Maple & Blue Epoxy Serving Boards

Over the last few years we have really enjoyed seeing all the great wood and epoxy projects all over the gram.  One of our goals for last year was to begin to add a line of epoxy projects to our offerings. We were able to get that going last December…

Today we want to show off a recent project commissioned by a friend…. We have been making sets of 2 serving boards (or possibly sushi boards) using the “coasters” mold from Crafted Elements.  We had already posted several other sets on the gram, and he asked if he could purchase a recent set made from figured walnut and sky blue epoxy.  That set was the first successful attempt and we just couldn’t part with them, so we made a different set just for him.

We would love to hear your thoughts down in the comments!

These boards were made using ambrosia maple and sky blue epoxy.  Each is approximately 12” long X 5” wide X .5” tall (not counting feet). Each is finished with salad bowl finish followed by our own blend of mineral oil and beeswax (we call it Grandpa Jacks Board Butter).
